The quickest way to reach Easy Cookie is email. One address, and it comes straight to me.
What to write about
- A recipe question. Tell me which recipe, anything you swapped or changed, and what actually came out of the oven. That is usually enough to spot the problem straight away.
- A correction. A quantity that looks wrong, a step that is missing, a link that is broken. These get fixed as soon as I see them, so please do send them.
- A substitution. Whether a recipe will survive what you have in the cupboard instead of what the list says.
- Permission to reuse something. Reprinting a recipe, using a photo, or featuring Easy Cookie in a roundup. The Terms of Use cover what you can do without asking first.
- Business enquiries. Partnerships, sponsorships and product enquiries go to the same address.
Before you write
If something did not turn out, the recipe page itself may already answer it. Every recipe has a troubleshooting section and a FAQ at the bottom covering the usual suspects — flat muffins, cakey brownies, cookies that spread into one sheet, and cakes that sink in the middle.
Or just leave a comment
Comments are open on every recipe. If your question is one another baker might have too — or you want to report back on how a batch went — leaving it under the recipe is more useful than emailing, because the next person reads it as well.
What happens to your email
When you write in, I receive your email address and whatever you put in the message, and I use them for one thing: replying to you. You are not added to any mailing list, and your address is not sold, rented or shared. The Privacy Policy sets out the detail, including how to ask for a copy of what is held or have it deleted.
